David S Bowen, II, also known as Dave, has a comprehensive and highly successful background as a leader at all levels in various service delivery companies. This gives him a unique perspective on how to bring value to his colleagues and clients. Dave’s focus has always been on building relationships through trust and caring in such a way that it motivates and inspires others while he continues to learn and grow through those experiences.

Prior to Valet Health, Dave served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Automated HealthCare Solutions a Private Equity Owned HealthCare technology company. Dave started out in September of 2007, as the Senior Vice President of Business Development prior to his promotion to President in 2010. In 2014, Dave was asked to step in as Chief Executive Officer where he lead the company until January of 2018. During Dave’s 10 year tenure at AHCS, he played a key role in all aspects of the businesses evolution in the ever-changing healthcare technology market which included business development, physician relations, private equity partner relations, financial growth, legislative affairs, client and company integration, company culture and vision.

Dave has more than 25 years experience in sales and executive leadership for various medical service companies. He served as the Executive Vice President of Business Development for PainCare Holdings, a publicly traded company where he led the corporate expansion of services focused on the treatment of Back Pain by heading up the growth of the In-Office Electrodiagnostic Screening program for Orthopedic Surgeons and Interventional Pain Physicians nationally. Dave also played an instrumental role in developing the strategy and executing the expansion plan for Physiom, a wholly owned subsidiary of PainCare that was an industry leader in Electrophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring. Prior to PainCare, Dave led Advanced Prosthetics and Orthotics of America as their National President of Operations.

Dave has a strong sense of philanthropy demonstrated by the founding of the Celebrity Amputee Golf Classic which for the past 15 years has provided an experience like no other to hundreds who have lost a limb. CAGC has provided funding and support to numerous children, special forces military personnel and amputee athletic teams to help ease their financial burdens during what can be a very trying time. This is a family affair for the Bowen’s as they work together each year to plan and execute one of the most successful Charity Golf Events in the country. Dave was honored by the University of Florida as an Honorary Alumnus due to his community and philanthropic leadership.

Dave most recently started a mentoring program with 7 High School Football Players that is focused on developing leaders and quality teammates on and off the field. Dave served as Chairman of Florida’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Foundation for 8 years as well as a board member of the Physician’s Research Institute for the past 3 years.

In Dave’s free time he enjoys spending it with his wife Angel and their two children Blair (17) and Dylan (15). With Blair’s role as one of the lead singers in their churches youth worship band and Dylan’s baseball activity there is not a lot of free time, but when there is, they very much enjoy spending it on the lake fishing, swimming and tubing.
